My own motherhood has changed me and has shifted my art.

When I set out a vision for my family photography work, what I can so clearly picture was a year of photographing motherhood every month, with a set rhythm (just two sessions a month), tied together by the timelessness of 35mm and medium format film.

These at their heart are family sessions with MOM as my creative co-conspirator. Motherhood means fresh postpartum, new parenthood, documenting multiple generations of mothers, a pregnancy lost or hoped for, or however you are currently holding your motherhood experience.

Expect elevated and intimate, light filled images; both personal to you and connecting to a larger tapestry of motherhood and the cycles of it all.
