Graphic design with trees, water, birds, and a paddle, emphasizing themes of environmental conservation, with the text 'Clean Water, Land & Legacy Amendment'.

TOPICS:

  • Reflecting on your own childhood folklore and cultural backdrop as a resource for your work.

  • Taking themes and threads from your own experiences, questions and curiosities and building a “personal project” from that place.

  • A review of my grant funded personal project, and other artist works with family as subject. Inspiration and references for your work going forward!

The Family Narrative - November Group Calls
from $90.00

After a year of mentoring - one of my favorite parts has been the group calls! This course takes the best of those topics and the community conversation aspect and opens it to everyone! Come spend Sunday evenings this November with a warm drink and in the company of other artist caregivers. Focused primarily on photography - but this can be used for any artist that is making work inspired from their own family narratives.
